Hi Friends!

I am beyond excited to announce what is sure to be an awesome event this July. In honor of PADI’s annual Women’s Dive Day, Kona Honu Divers will be hosting a special RSVP-only 3-tank charter that includes all sorts of cool stuff you don’t want to miss. Read on for the history of Women’s Dive Day, participation details, and more.

What is Women’s Dive Day?

Every summer, PADI dive shops around the world host events in honor of Women’s Dive Day. These events celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of women to SCUBA.

What Are the Benefits?

KHD thinks there’s no better way to celebrate women in diving than to, well, dive! On Saturday, July 15th, KHD will be hosting a special 3-tank long-range charter. The first site will be the rarely-dove Au Au Crater, with the last two sites TBD depending on conditions. We will provide free lunch and free Nitrox to all participants PLUS your choice of free specialty certification: PADI Underwater Naturalist or Fish ID.

Who Can Participate?

This event is open to all divers, men and women alike, with Open Water Certification or greater and at least 50 dives. Any divers that elect to use Nitrox must show proof of certification.

Cost: $259 + tax includes:

  • Long-range charter; 1st dive will be Au Au Crater, conditions permitting
  • Free certification: your choice of PADI Underwater Naturalist or Fish ID; contact the shop for more details on course sign-ups
