Women’s Dive Day: It’s not just for SCUBA divers!

I posted a while back about the PADI Women’s Dive Day charter KHD is running this July and wanted to pass on the announcement that this charter will include freedivers as well! This is an awesome opportunity to travel off the beaten path to some rarely visited sites, meet other divers, and celebrate the contributions of women’s in the fields of SCUBA and freediving.

What is Women’s Dive Day?

Every summer, PADI dive shops around the world host events in honor of Women’s Dive Day. These events celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of women to diving.

What Are the Benefits?

KHD thinks there’s no better way to celebrate women in diving than to, well, dive! On Saturday, July 15th, KHD will be hosting a special 3-site long-range charter. The first site will be the rarely-dove Au Au Crater, with the last two sites TBD depending on conditions. We will provide free box lunches and belts and weights to all participants.

Who Can Participate?

This event is open to all freedivers, men and women alike, with Level I freediving certification or greater.

Details

Cost: $199 + tax includes:

Long-range charter to 3 different dive sites; 1st dive will be Au Au Crater, conditions permitting
Safety diver in water with all participants
Free belt and weights
Free box lunch
